Stately Homes

Where have we worked...

Over the years NC Carpentry has been fortunate enough to have been contracted to work on some of the most architecturally important manor houses and stately homes in the country. The prestige that comes along with working on these sites means that we approach these jobs with great care and always do our upmost to provide our customers with a level of service that lives up to and completely respects the great history of the buildings that we are working on. Below we are proud to offer a selection of such properties that we have worked upon:

  • Kedleston Hall, Derbyshire
  • Easton Neston House, Towcester
  • Boughton House, Kettering
  • Claydon House, Bucks
  • Stowe
  • Kirby Hall
  • Cottersbrooke Hall
  • Stowe School
  • De Grey Mausoleum
  • Ashby St Ledgers Manor House
  • Finshades Lodge
  • Oundle School
  • Seaton Manor

Cottages & Barns

A lot of the restoration work that NC Carpentry carries out on residential properties is often on repairs to cottages and barns, with many of these properties being listed. We believe that we have become specialists in this kind of work over time and our craftsmen take real pride in working on these kinds of projects.

NC Carpentry is pleased to be able to offer a complete building service to these types of properties that includes, covering stonework, carpentry, pointing, traditional and modern plastering, plumbing, and electrics.

While repairs are our most common request on this very specific kind of work, in the past we have also carried out complete refurbishments and conversions on cottages and barns.

Whether the work involves new thatched roofs or limecrete floors, we are completely confident in our ability to manage and oversee all manor of works to these kinds of properties to the highest level of technical competence.
